BY CAR
– If you are arriving from Venice or Udine across the highway, after the toll/payment to the barrier
“TRIESTE LISERT” continue for another 7 km and take the exit ” SISTIANA – STRADA COSTIERA
(SS14) “. Began the road along the Gulf of Trieste you travel about 15 km to reach the railway station in “
PIAZZA DELLA LIBERTA’ “. Continuing along the main street and stay on the left side and turn into
the “VIA MILANO” at the traffic lights in the vicinity of the NH HOTEL. It runs along the “VIA
MILANO” counting below 4 traffic lights and then turn right into ” VIA PALESTRINA ” and continue
for another 300 meters until you reach the HOTEL ISTRIA.
BY TRAIN (Central Station Trieste)
– If you arrive by train to Trieste there are several options to get to the Hotel Istria:
By bus #22 and #6 that are taken in the Piazza della Liberta’ with stop in Via Battisti (2 minute walk from
the Hotel).
By bus #19 that take in Piazza della Liberta’ with stop in Piazza dell’Ospitale Maggiore (1-minute walk
from the Hotel).

BY AIR (Airport Ronchi dei Legionari)
– The distance between the airport and Trieste is about 35 km. Bus. 51 (Shuttle-Bus) leaves about every
30 minutes from Arrivals Area and held as the final stop at the Bus-Station of Trieste that is exactly at the
left side of the Central Railway Station (55 minutes) There is also an option with the Airport Taxi and
costs about € 60,00 (45 minutes).
